Palm Beach Public Third Graders Visit Town Hall to Learn About Local Government

On October 24, 2025, sixty third-grade students from Palm Beach Public School attended a field trip during Florida Government Week, which runs from October 20 to 26. The trip aimed to show students how local government works and supports the community. It also supported their classroom lessons on civics and voting.

Teachers and chaperones accompanied the students. They walked with a police escort to Town Hall. There, students took part in a mock vote and toured municipal departments, including the Police and Fire Rescue Departments. Staff explained their roles in public safety and community services.

Town Manager Kirk Blouin greeted the group in the Council Chambers. He gave an overview of the Town’s operations and answered students’ questions about decision-making and emergency response.
