Fugitive runs, uncle dies, family lies: Riviera Beach shooting suspect finally caught

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A 911 hang-up led police to a Riviera Beach home, where a man was shot dead, a family was lying, and a fugitive was on the run.

At 9:39 a.m. on August 21, officers with the Riviera Beach Police Department (RBPD) stated that 911 dispatch received a 911 hang-up call, during which the caller was heard crying.

Upon arriving at the call’s source, a home near the 1000 block of West 26th Court in Riviera Beach, officers say a woman was pacing back and forth and crying near the front door of the home.
