Police ID West Palm construction worker, 65, killed when Amtrak train struck dump truck

Authorities have identified the 65-year-old construction worker who died in a collision Nov. 12 in which an Amtrak passenger train struck a dump truck along the Beeline Highway.

Police said Nowel Alfonso of West Palm Beach was killed when a northbound train struck the truck he was driving at Northlake Boulevard near Palm Beach Gardens.
