Driver arrested in alleged DUI crash in Fort Lauderdale that killed passenger

A man is facing charges in an alleged DUI crash in Fort Lauderdale last year that killed a woman who was riding in his car, authorities said.

Jacques Simon Brice, 26, of Delray Beach, was arrested Tuesday on charges including DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, DUI causing injury, DUI causing property damage, reckless driving causing injury, and reckless driving causing property damage, records showed.

The crash happened just before 1:15 a.m. on June 9, 2024, on the exit ramp to Broward Boulevard from southbound Interstate 95.
