On Wednesday, Nov. 19, the Neil S. Hirsch Family Boys & Girls Club parking lot became a hub of generosity as nearly 300 cars, representing families from across Wellington, lined up to receive free groceries and essential food items.
The distribution was part of a large-scale logistical operation supported by the sheriff’s office, volunteer deputies and many dedicated community volunteers.
Citizen Observer Patrol (COP) volunteers Capt. Mike Anderson and his wife Mary Monnet, Lt. Gary Dernlan, Capt. Ken Finkleman, Sgt. Bill Richards, Sgt.
