WEST PALM BEACH — It took years of false starts, cost overruns and legal wrangling, but the historic Sunset Lounge has reopened, with the live jazz sounds that made it iconic 80 years ago ringing out once more in the remodeled club.
West Beach Beach city leaders celebrated the club’s official reopening on Nov. 19 with a performance by Grammy-nominated saxophonist Boney James that drew more than 300 spectators.
