PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — With just days left until Christmas, consumer experts are warning last-minute shoppers to be on alert for scams.
The Better Business Bureau says the rush to finish holiday shopping can make consumers more vulnerable to fraud. Scammers often target shoppers who are distracted and hoping to find quick deals.
“This time of year, we are in a rush. Usually, as we draw closer to the holiday season and we start to look at all the things in our to do list and all the people we want to guess get gifts for and want it under the tree.
