The most thought-provoking Academy Celebration activity most definitely goes to none other than Lakes Law!! What a well-planned and engaging event that optimized student participation. Lakes Law held a criminal trial during the Law Academy’s lunchtime celebration activity.
The event actually began days prior to the celebration day–Students at PBL were able to watch a video that gave the history and background of the case that they would later debate about and then weigh in and vote on (Guilty or Not Guilty). It was fun listening to the reasoning and critical thinking skills of the courtyard jurors (LOL). Both lunches were fully engaged! Lakes Law gave new meaning to the term “Lunch and Learn.” It truly was an amazing event…
