What would a Five Carat Choice Program Academy Week be without the Medical Academy Celebration Day?! Well, the Medical Academy at PBL did not disappoint! The lunch period was filled with heart-pumping fun and friendly competition!
Participating students learned a few CPR steps and some terminology for parts of the body in an exciting relay race. To make the event more interesting, they also recalled their early childhood school days by hula hooping and jumping ropes. Medical Carats were also challenged–they practiced the skill of taking and reading blood pressure of those who competed in the relay race. All who were engaged (even the onlookers) had a blast of a lunch period!
