Loxahatchee Groves loses PBSO patrols after town refuses to pay bill

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has accused Loxahatchee Groves of breaching its contract and will no longer assign deputies to patrol the 12.5-square-mile town.

The agency said it still will respond to life-threatening calls and provide “service consistent with unincorporated Palm Beach County.”
