North Palm Beach Mourns the Passing of Esteemed Councilmember Kristin Garrison

The North Palm Beach community is grappling with the loss of a key figure in local governance, with Village Councilmember Kristin Garrison having passed away as announced yesterday. Garrison, whose tenure in public service spanned more than three decades, joined the Village Council in 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a reputation for empathy and dedication.

According to CBS12, Garrison was remembered by the Village Manager Chuck Huff as “a dedicated public servant,” her contributions marked by a “genuine commitment to the community.” In her service, she worked as Gulf Stream Town City Manager, before spending more than 20 years with the Palm Beach County School District as director of planning and intergovernmental relations.
