Italian-American Concept Opening in Lake Park, FL

LAKE PARK, FL — Due Cuori, a new full-service Italian American restaurant from owner Monique Rabyor, is preparing to open at 405 Federal Highway, Lake Park, FL 33403. Rabyor told Business Debut the team is targeting a January opening, with plans to open by January 31, pending construction, or by mid-February at the latest.

What to Expect

Due Cuori is a full-service restaurant from Rabyor and her husband, Alfredo Verrone. The name translates to “two hearts” in Italian and reflects the husband-and-wife ownership behind the concept.

The restaurant will seat approximately 60 to 70 guests inside, with plans to add an outdoor patio that could accommodate an additional 30 to 40 guests. The space is being redesigned from its former diner layout to create a more Italian-inspired, casual, and homey atmosphere.

Menu and Vision

The menu will feature house-made pastas, classic Italian dishes, and familiar Italian American favorites. Rabyor said guests can expect items like cacio e pepe, fresh burrata, antipasti, and salads, along with beer and a curated wine selection.

Each dish on the menu will include a short history describing its origins. “I put a little bit of history on every dish, where it came from and what year it came from,” Rabyor told Business Debut.

Ownership and Background

Although this is Rabyor’s first restaurant as an owner, she brings more than 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She began working in restaurants at age 15 and has held roles across fine dining, clubs, and family-owned restaurants throughout Florida…
