BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A Florida manatee made a surprise appearance near the docks at Harvey E. Oyer Boat Ramp on Wednesday morning, prompting the Boynton Beach Police Department to remind boaters to watch their speed and stay alert on the water.
In a Jan. 7 Facebook post, BBPD shared the sighting and encouraged residents to help protect these gentle giants.
