Boca Raton police charged a 30-year-old motorist with DUI and leaving the scene of a hit-and-run accident after they allegedly found her blocks from the site of the crash unconscious in her vehicle.
Haley Hoxsie, 30, of Boynton Beach, was arrested following the Jan. 6 crash that brought officers to 2900 N. Military Trail, responding to a report of a hit-and-run accident. According to a police report, the victim called police to report the driver of a Chevrolet Equinox who drove into her driver’s side bumper, then continuing on while swerving in and out of the way of other vehicles.
