PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (CBS12) — Palm Beach Gardens police played a major role in a statewide investigation that led to the arrests of two Venezuelan nationals accused of orchestrating a complex theft scheme that targeted Ulta Beauty stores across the nation.
Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrest of Willy Jesus Diaz Pelayo and Maikol Eduardo Garcia Sanchez on Friday morning.
Uthmeier stated, “Retail theft is not a victimless crime; every consumer feels the effects when retailers are forced to raise their prices. We will push for the toughest penalties possible on these criminals to protect businesses and consumers.”…
