WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man accused of committing an armed robbery in downtown West Palm Beach was arrested late Monday after crashing his vehicle on I-95 and attempting to run from officers.
The West Palm Beach Police Department said officers responded to reports of an armed robbery on Evernia Street and Quadrille Plaza Drive, near the Brightline train station, at around 11:20 p.m. on January 19. Investigators quickly identified a suspect vehicle, which was spotted a short time later heading south on I-95.
