WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A much-anticipated meeting on airport noise is set for 9:30 a.m. today as the Citizens’ Committee on Airport Noise convenes to discuss potential noise mitigation methods and recommend solutions.
Residents in neighborhoods including Grandview Heights, Flamingo Park, and El Cid have expressed frustration over increased noise from planes rerouted due to flight restrictions around Mar-a-Lago. These restrictions, initially enforced only when President Trump was in town, are now in effect 24/7.
