Public to Vote on ‘Boca One’ This March, Located at 201 W. Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, Florida

After getting approval from the Boca Raton City Council, an expansive mixed-use venture is one step closer to becoming reality. The venture will go to a public vote in March.

The proposed Boca One would comprise residential, retail, and office space, and it’s expected to generate at least $250 million annually for the city – more than $4 billion over the course of its 99-year lease.

Boca One would have 947 residences: 765 apartments with some workforce housing and 182 condos. The South Florida Business Journal reports that, additionally, there would be 96,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, 150,000 square feet of office space, and a 180-key hotel. Other features include basketball and tennis courts, a children’s museum, and a veterans’ memorial.

Terra and Frisbie Group, through their joint venture, Raton City Center LLC, are the developers. The two were selected by the Boca Raton City Council to lead the project.
