South Florida Eateries Temporarily Closed for Health Violations in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach Counties

Recent inspection reports from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation identified multiple food safety violations at restaurants across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Some establishments were temporarily closed due to the severity of the violations.

As reported by CBS12, in Palm Beach County, inspectors shut down Mr. Mack Island Grill after finding an active roach infestation, including roaches on prep tables and inside an employee water dispenser. The restaurant required six inspections before being allowed to reopen. Uncle Joe’s Chinese Restaurant was also closed after inspectors found 26 dead insects on a prep table along with additional violations.

In Broward County, Bamboo Kitchen in Fort Lauderdale was cited for dozens of live insects found in cooler gaskets and roaches inside a soap dispenser, according to the Miami Herald. The restaurant underwent multiple reinspections before meeting health standards…
