PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (CBS12) — A Best Buy employee in Palm Beach Gardens has been accused of masterminding a fraud scheme that racked up over $118,000 in losses by exploiting the store’s discount system to benefit himself and his coworkers.
The Palm Beach Gardens Police Department said that they were alerted to the fraud on December 18, 2024, after the store manager found that Matthew Lattera, 36, initiated heavily discounted transactions in March 2024.
