Epstein had plans to renovate island estate using Florida firm, emails show

(NewsNation) — Before Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of sex trafficking, the financier made plans to renovate his private islands, Little St. James and Great St. James, documents revealed.

In the newly released 3.5 million pages of Epstein files from the Department of Justice, detailed illustrations of plans made by the architectural design firm, Radyca, based in West Palm Beach, Florida, are found.

NewsNation did not receive a comment from the design company at the time of this piece’s publication.

Epstein island renovation never took place

Epstein terminated the firm in June 2018 and just before the renovation was set to begin in January 2019, according to emails.

An email shows that at least $150,000 was paid to the firm by Epstein in 2018.

Epstein island estate plans included massage room, ‘ladies residence’

Emails between Epstein and Ramon Alonso, the president of Radyca and lead design architect, show the exchange of money along with several notes about the sex trafficker’s vision for his homes.

One draft described how Epstein preferred to sleep “on left side of headboard” and mentioned a designated “massage” area…
