LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A 69-year-old woman was killed, and six people were taken to the hospital on Valentine’s Day following a seven-vehicle crash that involved a semi-truck on the Florida Turnpike.
According to a crash report from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the 69-year-old Greenacres woman was traveling north on the Florida Turnpike near the 89-mile marker. Around the same time, a semi-truck was traveling north on Florida’s Turnpike.
FHP says that for unclear reasons, the front left of the woman’s Honda Ridgeline struck a semi-truck’s trailer. She continued north and re-entered the outside travel lane…
