WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The woman accused of deliberately crashing her vehicle into the front entrance of the Paul G. Rogers Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach has now been formally indicted on a federal felony charge.
A federal grand jury charged Lanesa Lachon Stubbs with destruction of government property, according to an indictment filed in the Southern District of Florida.
Prosecutors allege that on or about Jan. 14, Stubbs “willfully injured and committed depredation” against property of the United States by damaging the courthouse’s front door entrance and front lobby security equipment. The indictment states the damage exceeded $1,000…
