RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A 21-year-old West Palm Beach man accused of instigating a 40-round shootout in Riviera Beach is in custody after being tracked down by U.S. Marshals.
U.S. Marshals Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force located 21-year-old Jeremiah Elie at a house on the 1200 block of Giller Avenue in Mangonia Park for his role in a February shooting, according to a Riviera Beach Police Department news release.
Police say ShotSpotter detected over 40 gunshots in the 900 block of West 36th Street at 9:21 p.m. on February 1.
15 minutes after the shots were detected, a 911 call reportedly led officers to a convenience store in the 1000 block of Silver Beach Boulevard for a man, later identified as Elie, who walked into the store with a gunshot wound to his back…
