The ninth annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach shimmers with captivating colors and the breezy aesthetics of the 23 designers whose work is showcased at two homes this year — “The Intracoastal House” on the water at 3410 N. Flagler Drive and “Palm Cottage” just across the street.
For the decoration of their rooms, many of the designers say they took inspiration from the lifestyle, colors and resort focus of nearby Palm Beach, just across the waterway from the main residence.
And many of those designers filtered their vision to complement or contrast with the early 1950s-style architecture of the two houses.
