Someone at Brightline must be a fan of the 1998 indie movie The Last Days of Disco. That charming coming-of-age flick ends with the characters played by Chloe Sevigny and Matt Keeslar boarding a subway train to the sound of the O’Jays “Love Train” only to start flirtatiously disco dancing. As the credits roll, everyone on the train and subway platform spontaneously joins in on the dancing fun. On Friday, March 27, Brightline riders can reenact this scene with the Silent Disco Premium Experience that coincides with the first day of the 2026 Ultra Music Festival. This initiative is a follow-up to Brightline’s “Next Stop: Ultra” train, which the company introduced last year.
According to the Brightline press release, “The one‑time, one‑direction southbound train departs West Palm Beach on Friday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m., departs in Boca Raton at 2:24 p.m. and Fort Lauderdale at 2:42 p.m., and arrives in Miami just before festival gates open at 3:20 p.m. Riders can select the train marked with the special event icon and enjoy flat, inclusive fares of $89 from any South Florida station.”
