See plans for the new Publix grocery store in downtown West Palm Beach

Plans for the first full-service Publix grocery in downtown West Palm Beach call for a large store with an urban design and wide-ranging services, including a two-story building with covered parking, a pharmacy and a liquor store.

Development plans submitted to the city show the 51-foot-tall building and a surface parking lot would occupy the entire 600 block of Banyan Street, one block from the cityโ€™s main Clematis Street strip.

The storeโ€™s primary shopping area would be on the second floor and would feature full produce and bakery departments, a deli island and a pharmacy…
