Palm Beach Synagogue will host a special session of a new, New York City-based educational lecture series, Breakfast University, on March 24 that explores founding father Alexander Hamilton’s possible Jewish roots.
The lecture will examine how this aspect of Hamilton’s heritage may have influenced his advocacy for Jewish rights in early days of the country, according to a release.
The session will be led by Professor Andrew Porwancher of Arizona State University, author of “The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton” and a former fellow at Harvard, Oxford and Princeton.
