For years, Michael Kariotis and his late wife, Joan, visited their Palm Beach condominium on Ibis Isle regularly as snowbirds from Lake Forest, Illinois.
But at 94, Kariotis is no longer traveling to Palm Beach, says his son, Michael G. Kariotis, who spoke to the Palm Beach Daily News on behalf of his father.
“Real estate is my dad’s hobby,” Kariotis says. “He’s not the kind of guy who pulls the trigger very fast. He does his homework, and it can take years and years.”…
