PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — In a case of deception, a woman allegedly posing as an immigration attorney has been arrested in Palm Beach County for swindling vulnerable victims out of more than $8,700 in a fraudulent scheme.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that on March 20, authorities began investigating claims that Mitzy Mariel Farfan was posing as an immigration attorney and court representative, misleading victims into paying for services that were never provided.
