WELLINGTON, Fla. (CBS12) — A Belle Glade man is accused of playing a key role in a sprawling fraud scheme uncovered only after deputies pulled him over for a traffic violation.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said what began as a routine traffic stop in December 2024 eventually led detectives to unravel an alleged multi-state banking fraud operation involving stolen credentials, fraudulent transfers, and coordinated withdrawals.
Jackson Saint Fleur, 24, was finally arrested on March 26, after deputies stopped a blue Nissan Altima in Belle Glade for darkly tinted windows back in December 2024, according to a probable cause affidavit. During the stop, deputies recovered marijuana, a firearm, and Saint Fleur’s cellphone.
