Palm Beach to vote on special magistrate for maritime code enforcement

The Palm Beach Town Council is expected to give final approval March 30 to an ordinance and resolution appointing a special magistrate to oversee certain code enforcement cases, including maritime matters.

During their special meeting at Town Hall, council members will vote on an ordinance that formalizes the appointment of special magistrates and a resolution naming attorney Paul J. Nicoletti as the magistrate to preside over violations of the town code involving waterways as well other coastal issues.
