Fishing shop employee pleads guilty to reduced charges in Riviera Beach attack case

What started as a confrontation over stolen fishing gear at a Riviera Beach tackle shop ended with a guilty plea to reduced charges.

During a court hearing today, Eric Samuel Hanna pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and battery, reduced from the original charges filed after his 2024 arrest. A judge sentenced Hanna to two days in jail, with credit for time already served, and ordered him to serve 24 months of probation.
