JUNO BEACH, Fla. (WPBF/CNN Newsource/WKRC) — A beloved husband, father and coach from Maine died during a family vacation in Florida after saving his children from drowning.
Ryan Jennings and his family, including his wife Emily and their three children, were visiting Ryan’s parents in South Florida. On Wednesday, Ryan was at Juno Beach when two of his children were caught in rip currents while swimming. Witnesses told WPBF that he didn’t hesitate, immediately swimming after them.
While Ryan was able to rescue his children, he wasn’t able to save himself…
