WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Wichita student who graduated at the top of his class at Campus High School is preparing to head to the U.S. Air Force Academy after earning acceptance to three U.S. service academies, his family said.
Jackson Jones, the valedictorian of his graduating class, said he was accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy and, most recently, the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Jones said he initially planned to attend West Point but had long hoped to go to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Over Memorial Day weekend, he learned he had received an appointment to the Air Force Academy…
