WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A chase ended in Butler County after authorities allege a man evaded Sedgwick County sheriff’s deputies on Monday.
About 2 p.m., deputies with the Property Crimes Reduction Task Force tried to arrest a 38-year-old Wichita man with outstanding felony warrants, the sheriff’s office said.
During the encounter near Meridian Avenue and MacArthur Road, the man backed into a deputy’s patrol vehicle with a pickup truck and drove away, according to authorities. The deputy was not hurt.
