WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita-based substance abuse and behavioral health provider on Tuesday discussed how it will spend an over $4 million grant from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
Recovery Unlimited received a $4.29 million grant through the Rural Health Transformation Program to support the expansion of substance abuse and mental health services in rural areas.
“This grant represents a major step forward in helping rural Kansans access the treatment, support, and recovery services they need close to home,” Dade Ronan, owner of Recovery Unlimited, said in a news release. “For too many individuals and families, geography becomes a barrier to care.”
