WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Another muggy start to the day with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
Later today, expect partly cloudy skies, gusty winds and hotter temperatures in the 90s. A weak cold front could spark a few strong storms in western and north central Kansas, but most will stay dry.
A slow-moving storm system will arrive this weekend, bringing scattered showers and storms across central and eastern Kansas. Rain is expected to move in Saturday late afternoon and evening and continue on and off into Sunday.
The risk for severe weather remains very low, but some storms could produce gusty winds, and heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding…
