WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The El Dorado Correctional Facility is investigating the death of a resident who was found unresponsive in his cell.
According to the Kansas Department of Corrections, Joshua Matthews, 38, died on Friday after being found unresponsive.
Staff began life-saving measures immediately and continued after emergency medical services arrived, but were unsuccessful, KDOC said.
