MOUNT HOPE, Kan. (KSNW) — Mount Hope and Greeley Township community members met with city leaders and Sedgwick County commissioners on Monday to discuss the future of fire and emergency services.
This was the town’s first public discussion since the Sedgwick County Commission voted to end several mutual aid agreements for the fire department last month. They cited concerns with firefighter safety and response times as their reasoning.
