Once the post-Fourth of July weekend malaise sets in, Wichita will still have chicken to anticipate.
On Wednesday, July 8, Dallas-based Vibe Restaurants will open its 100th Wingstop, at 3000 N. Rock Road. The restaurant is taking over a space in the same strip center at 29th and Rock Road that has Starbucks and Cold Stone Creamery.
The day will start with a 9:15 a.m. ribbon cutting. The first 100 people in line at that time will get Wingstop swag. When the doors open at 10 a.m., the restaurant will pass out samples of the restaurant’s food and drink.
Wingstop serves traditional bone-in and boneless chicken along with chicken tenders, and customers can customize their meals by choosing from different sauces and seasonings.
