Storm Track 3 Forecast: A stormy 4th of July for some, hot temps continue

A lull in storms develops through midday before another round of storms fires up in the late afternoon and evening.

A Slight Risk of severe weather covers most of Kansas, with an Enhanced Risk circled over south-central Kansas and northern Oklahoma.

Storms are most likely in southern Kansas this evening, which will likely cause some issues for firework shows tonight.

Skies turn quieter for a few days before more storms are possible later this week. A bit less hot, but still feeling like summertime all week long.
