WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is a mild Monday morning across Kansas with wake-up temperatures in the 60s. Later today underneath mainly sunny skies we will see highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s or a few degrees below normal for early July.
After a slightly warmer Tuesday and Wednesday in the lower to middle 90s, shower and storm chances return to western Kansas during the evening. While a strong storm or two cannot be ruled out, widespread severe weather is not expected.
A second, stronger system arriving on Thursday will bring a better chance of both storms and severe weather to the state.
