WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita’s reputation as the Air Capital of the World is on full display this week at the prestigious Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.
Each year, a delegation from Wichita hosts the Air Capital of the World Reception, which showcases the advantages of investing in Wichita’s aerospace industry.
The delegation includes Sen. Jerry Moran, Kansas Lt. Gov. David Toland, Mayor Lily Wu, Sedgwick County Commissioner Jeff Blubaugh, industry leaders and representatives from higher education, including Wichita State University and its National Institute for Aviation Research.
