A new nonprofit is creating a program called Goddard Main Street that it hopes can do everything from improving downtown streetscapes, building facades and light poles to bringing more businesses to the area and filling in vacant lots.
“These are just some of our initial ideas. We’re looking at doing some banners on light poles and, you know, flowers, things like that,” said Goddard Deputy City Manager Ryan Shrack, who serves as an ex-officio member of the nonprofit’s board.
