WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – While today won’t be as hot as the past few days, it will remain humid and highs in the upper 90s will feel like 100 to 105 degrees this afternoon. Strenuous outdoor activities should be avoided, and if you must be outside, stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in the shade.
Thunderstorms will move across the northern part of the state this evening and tonight. The best chances will be along and north of I-70 and while small hail and gusty winds are possible, widespread severe weather is not expected.
Expect temperatures to remain at or above average on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs in the middle to upper 90s will feel like 100 degrees underneath mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies…
