Concerns are growing for Kansas farmers, as many of them say they are spending thousands of dollars more than usual on fuel and other operation costs, leading to significantly less in profits.
Any farmer will tell you that some years are better than others, but right now many feel the lack of rain, war in Iran and tariffs driving up fuel costs and rising costs for fertilizer and seed are making for a bad year.
