WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita East High School is giving parents notice about a major traffic project on Douglas starting Wednesday.
Douglas Avenue between Washington Avenue and Grove Street will be converted to a three-lane road as part of a six-month pilot project, the City of Wichita said.
The school said parents should anticipate additional congestion along the street, particularly during arrival and dismissal times.
