‘Grief is a killer’: Wichita group helps people heal after loss

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Deona Madrigal is the program director for Good Grief of Kansas, but before that, she was an attendee looking for guidance and support following the death of her stepmother.

“When she died, and I knew I was having such a hard time, I looked up a meeting and the closest one to me happened to be that day,” Madrigal said.
