Four years ago, two Wichita brothers-turned-James Beard nominated chefs transformed an old gas station building at Douglas and Hillside into an upscale pasta restaurant that has grown to be so popular, diners who don’t have reservations now often can’t find a seat.
Now, FioRito Ristorante owners Jordan and Jason Rickard are planning a big move that should help with those waits — but it won’t happen until next year.
The Rickard brothers have signed a lease to take over the space at Bradley Fair that soon will be vacated by Bella Luna Cafe. Matteo Taha’s restaurant, which has operated at 2132 N.
